Thanks to this partnership, we define a protocol to verify the sterilization effectiveness of our sterilizers, designed for the on-site treatment of potentially infectious medical waste.
CSA Group provided the study and planning of the steps and methods to evaluate our sterilization process and then performed the tests, including microbiological analysis activity on the residue of the sterilization process.
"We are very proud of this study, carried out in collaboration with this important italian accredited research Instiute. The project allowed to validate the sterilization efficacy of the machine through an objective and scientifically proven verification protocol."
Gianluca Magrini - Head of R&D Department
The study certify the 28 days of sterilization status publicated on the Energy and Sustainability Startegic Development High Technology Network website. It proves the sterilization of infectious solid heathcare waste.
Results demonstrate that our sterilizers comply with internal requirements for the sterilization of medical waste represented by STAATT level IV, and the stable condition that the treated sterilized waste maintains over a period of 28 days with no bacterial re-growth.
NW5 machine on-site sterilization significantly reduces the costs of disposal of healthcare facilities, increases hygiene standards by improving staff safety and helps to reduce both the quantity of waste produced and the environmental impact thanks to the 30% reduction of CO2 emissions due avoided transport.
